Barry S. and Evelyn M. Strauch Scholarship Endowment

The Barry S. and Evelyn M. Strauch Scholarship shall be awarded on a yearly basis to one undergraduate student (preference given to first-semester freshmen and sophomores) who demonstrates financial need. Additional requirements are as follows:
The recipient must be an immigrant or a first generation American.
The recipient must be a United States citizen or have a valid US green card.
The recipient must have a grade point average of at least 3.2 at the time the scholarship is awarded and maintain a 3.2.
In the case of entering freshman, the student should have a cumulative high school average of 87 or better at the time of admission to Queens College.
