Hispanic Federation's Dreamer Scholarship & Support Fund

The Queens College Immigrant Student Support Initiative has partnered with the Hispanic Federation to expand its Dreamer Scholarship & Support Fund to Queens College Students! The Hispanic Federation is a Latino-led nonprofit membership organization that promotes the social, political, and economic well-being of immigrant communities.

In continuing its commitment to serving and supporting New York City’s young immigrant student population, the Hispanic Federation is proud to provide support funds to aid eligible undocumented and immigrant students via tuition support or grocery assistance. Eligible students selected to receive the Dreamer Scholarship & Support Fund will receive $500 in tuition support.

The eligibility criteria for this support fund are:

  • Students must be enrolled in at least six (6) credits.
  • Students must have a high school degree, GED, or high school equivalency diploma from the United States.
  • Students must not be eligible to apply for federal financial aid through the FAFSA.
  • Students and their families must exhibit a significant unmet financial need.

The application deadline is Friday, May 24th. Applications will be accepted and processed on a rolling basis. Funds are limited to eligible students on a first-come, first-served basis.
