Addison Barman Scholarship Fund

Amount of each award: $1,000 for each of two consecutive semesters to a current Music student. Criteria: Financial need, preference for a female, Musical excellence. Preference for a student singing in the Choral Society or QC Choir or Vocal Ensemble (or who has sung in one of these.) or studying choral conducting The awarding of these scholarships should be flexible enough to allow for the awarding of more than one at a time, though preference would be to have a single awardee in each of the following 5 years. Second semester is contingent upon review of the faculty. The awardee will be chosen by Prof. James John, in consultation with the Chair and other faculty members as needed and the award should be administered at the beginning of each semester.
