To a graduating ACSM Senior displaying special aptitude in original ethnomusicological research and written excellent paper on folk music study; or graduating senior with special interest and talent in musical theater and written critical essay of outstanding merit dealing with “Music and the Contemporary Theater”; or to a graduating senior who has composed an original and meritorious score on a Shakespearean theme.
